ഒരു തുള്ളൻ ചിത്രശലഭമാണ് മലശരവേഗൻ (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Evershed’s Ace[1]/Travancore Tawny Ace) . Thoressa evershedi എന്ന ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ആദ്യമായി ശേഖരിച്ചത് പ്രശസ്ത ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ജ്യോതിശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ എവെർഷെഡ് ആയതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇവാൻസ് ഈ ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം നൽകിയത്.[2][3][4]

തമിഴ്‌നാട് , കേരളം എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫെബ്രുവരി , മേയ്, ഒക്ടോബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .[5]
