ഒരു നീലി ചിത്രശലഭമാണ് ഗോമേദകം (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Common Onyx). Horaga onyx എന്ന ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.[1][2][3]

ആസാം, ഗോവ, പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ, മേഘാലയ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഏപ്രിൽ-മേയ്,ഒക്ടോബർ-ഡിസംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .[4]
