ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ്‌, അരുണാചൽ പ്രദേശ്, കർണ്ണാടക, മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനുവരി-മാർച്ച് , മെയ്-നവംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .[3]
മാനിലപ്പുളി ചെടിയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലാർവാ ഭക്ഷ്യ സസ്യം.[3]
