ഇന്ത്യൻ നേത്രരോഗവിദഗ്ദ്ധനും [1][2][3] ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിലെ സർ ഗംഗാ റാം ആശുപത്രിയിലെ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവുമാണ് വിജയ് കുമാർ ദാദ. [4][5]ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് മെഡിക്കൽ സയൻസസിലെ ഡോ. ആർ. പി. സെന്റർ ഫോർ ഒഫ്താൽമിക് സയൻസസിന്റെ പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയും മുൻ മേധാവിയും [6] ആയിരുന്ന ദാദ തിമിരം, ഗ്ലോക്കോമ തുടങ്ങിയ നേത്രരോഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് നിരവധി ലേഖനങ്ങൾ എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. [7][8][9] നാഷണൽ അക്കാദമി ഓഫ് മെഡിക്കൽ സയൻസസിന്റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഫെലോയായ ദാദയെ [10] 2002 ൽ ഇന്ത്യാ സർക്കാർ നാലാമത്തെ ഉയർന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ സിവിലിയൻ അവാർഡ് പത്മശ്രീ നൽകി ബഹുമാനിച്ചു. [11]
