Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary became a National Park in 1989

ഹരിയാണ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ഗുഡ്‌ഗാവ് ജില്ലയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ദേശീയോദ്യാനമാണ് സുൽത്താൻപൂർ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം. 1989-ലാണ് ഇത് നിലവിൽ വന്നത്. 1972-ൽ ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ ഒരു പക്ഷി സങ്കേതമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. വെറും 1.43 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ മാത്രമാണ് ഉദ്യാനത്തിന്റെ വിസ്തൃതി.

ജന്തുജാലങ്ങൾ

250-ലധികം പക്ഷികളുടെ ആവാസകേന്ദ്രമാണിവിടം. എല്ലാ വർഷവും 100-ലധികം ഇനങ്ങളില്പ്പെട്ട ദേശാടനപ്പക്ഷികൾ ഇവിടെയെത്തുന്നു. ഫ്ലെമിംഗോ, സാരസ് കൊക്ക്, ഐസിസ് തുടങ്ങിയവ അവയിൽ ചിലതാണ്. കൃഷ്ണമൃഗം, നീൽഗായ്, ഹോഗ് മാന്‍, സാംബർ, ഹണിബാഡ്ജർ, പുലി തുടങ്ങിയവയെയും ഇവിടെ കാണാം.
