സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽ നിന്നും 5854 മീറ്റർ വരെ ഉയരത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഇതിന്റെ വിസ്തൃതി 4100 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്ററാണ്. പർവതങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ പ്രദേശമാണിത്. അങ്ങിങ്ങായി പുമേടുകളും താഴ്വരകളിൽ കുറ്റിക്കാടുകളും കാണാം. പോപ്ലാർ, ബിർച്ച്, ജൂനിപെർ എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാന വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ.
ജന്തുജാലങ്ങൾ
ഹിമപ്പുലി, ടിബറ്റൻ കാട്ടുകഴുത, ഐബക്സ്, ടിബറ്റൻ ആർഗലി, ഹിമാലയൻ മാർമറ്റ് തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രധാന ജന്തുക്കൾ. എഴുപതിലേറെ പക്ഷിവർഗ്ഗങ്ങളും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. അതിൽ റോസ് ഫിഞ്ച് ഇനത്തില്പ്പെട്ടവയാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ
