ഒരേയൊരു ജനുസ് മാത്രമുള്ള ഒരു സസ്യകുടുംബമാണ് മൊരിൻഗേസീ (Moringaceae). കുറ്റിച്ചെടികൾ മുതൻ വലിയ മരങ്ങൾ വരെയുള്ള മുരിങ്ങ എന്ന ഈ ജനുസിൽ 13 സ്പീഷിസുകളാണ് ഉള്ളത്. ഇതിൽ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ നട്ടുവളർത്തുന്ന സ്പീഷിസാണ് മുരിങ്ങ (Moringa oleifera). മിക്ക സ്പീഷിസുകളും ഏതുതരം പരിസ്ഥിതിയിലും വളരുന്നവയാണ്.
