സപുഷ്പികളിൽപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു സസ്യകുടുംബമാണ് മിറികേസീ (Myricaceae). ഈ ചെറിയ സസ്യകുടുംബത്തിൽ ദ്വിബീജപത്ര സസ്യങ്ങളായ കുറ്റിച്ചെടികൾ, ചെറുമരങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ കാണപ്പടുന്നു. Myrica, Canacomyrica, Comptonia എന്നീ 3 സസ്യജനുസ്സുകൾ മാത്രമാണു ഈ സസ്യകുടുംബത്തിലുള്ളത്.[2]
