അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ ടെക്സസ് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഡെന്റൺ കൗണ്ടിയിൽപ്പെട്ട ഒരു നഗരമാണ് ഹൈലൻഡ് വില്ലേജ്. ഡാളസിന്റെ പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശത്ത് ലൂയിവിൽ തടാകത്തിന്റെ പടിഞ്ഞാറേ ശാഖയുടെ തെക്കുവശം പുണർന്നായാണ് നഗരത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം. 2010ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം നഗരത്തിൽ 15,056 പേർ വസിക്കുന്നു[4]
ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രം
[തിരുത്തുക]ഹൈലൻഡ് വില്ലേജ് നഗരത്തിന്റെ അക്ഷരേഖാംശങ്ങൾ 33°5′17″N 97°3′21″W / 33.08806°N 97.05583°W (33.087940, -97.055874).[5] എന്നാണ്.
യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സ് സെൻസസ് ബ്യൂറോയുടെ കണക്കുപ്രകാരം നഗരത്തിന്റെ മൊത്തം വിസ്തീർണ്ണം 6.4 ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ (17 കി.m2) ആണ്. ഇതിൽ 5.5 ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ (14 കി.m2) കരപ്രദേശവും 0.9 ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ (2.3 കി.m2) (13.88%) ജലവുമാണ്[6]
