ജപ്പാനിലെ ഹൊക്കൈഡൊ ദ്വീപിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ദേശീയോദ്യാനമാണ് അകാൻ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Akan National Park ജാപ്പനീസ്: (阿寒国立公園 Akan Kokuritsu Kōen). ദൈസെത്സുസ്സാൻ എന്ന ദേശീയോദ്യാനവുമായി കൂടിചേർന്നണ് ഇത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഹൊക്കൈഡൊ ദ്വീപിലെത്തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും പഴയ രണ്ട് ദേശീയോദ്യാനങ്ങളാണിവ.[1] 1934 ഡിസംബർ 4 നാണ് അകാൻ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം സ്ഥാപിതമാകുന്നത്. അഗ്നിപർവ്വത ഗർത്തങ്ങളും അതിനോടുചേർന്ന വനമേഖലയും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നതാണ് അകാൻ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം. ഇത് 90,481 ഹെക്ടർ (904.81 കി.m2) വിസ്തൃതിയിൽ വ്യാപിച്ച് കിടക്കുന്നു.[2][3] സ്പടികസമാനമായ തടാകങ്ങൾ, ചൂടരുവികൾ, മറീമോ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന വലിയ ആൽഗകൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്കെല്ലാം പ്രസിദ്ധമാണിവിടം.
ഭാഗങ്ങൾ
[തിരുത്തുക]അകാൻ ദേശീയോദ്യാനത്തെ രണ്ട് ഭാഗങ്ങളായി തരം തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. കവായു, അകാൻ എന്നിവയാണവ.[4]
കവായു
[തിരുത്തുക]ലോ അഗ്നിപർവ്വതം, കവായു ഒൺസെൻ എന്ന ചൂടരുവി എന്നിവ ഈ ഭാഗത്താണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. കുസ്സാറൊ തടാകം, ബിഹോറൊ പാസ്സ്, മൊകൊതൊ പർവ്വതം, നിഷിബെത്സു തടാകം എന്നിവയും ഈ പ്രദേശത്താണ്.[5] ഇവിടത്തെ മാഷു തടാകം ഒരു അഗ്നിപർവ്വതമുഖ തടാകമാണ്. ലോകത്തിലെതന്നെ ഏറ്റവും പരിശുദ്ധമായ തടാകങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത്. ഇതിന്റെ ഉപരിതലത്തിൽ നിന്നും 40മീറ്റർ താഴ്ചവരെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ വ്യക്തമായി കാണാം.
അകാൻ
[തിരുത്തുക]20 കിലോ മീറ്ററിലും അധികം വലിപ്പമുള്ള ഒരു ഗർത്തമാണ് അകാൻ കാൽദെറ. മീക്കാാൻ പർവ്വതം എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന അകൻ അഗ്നിപർവ്വതസമൂഹവും, ഈ പ്രദേശത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.[6]
