ഗോപകുമാർ ആർ (ഓച്ചിറ, കേരളം, ഇന്ത്യ, 17 മെയ് 1972) ഒരു സമകാലിക ഇന്ത്യൻ കലാകാരനും ഡിജിറ്റൽ ആർട്ട് ശേഖരിക്കുന്നയാളുമാണ്.[1]

1972-ൽ ചങ്ങൻകുളങ്ങര, ഓച്ചിറ, കൊല്ലം, ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ജനിച്ചു. പ്രൈമറി സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനുശേഷം, വരയ്ക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു പ്രവണത വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ അദ്ദേഹം, പ്രതിഭാധനരായ രണ്ട് മാസ്റ്റേഴ്സിന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗനിർദ്ദേശത്തിൽ കലാപരമായ വിഷയങ്ങൾ പഠിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി: മാധവൻ, സുരാസു. മാവേലിക്കരയിലെ രാജാ രവിവർമ്മ കോളേജ് ഓഫ് ഫൈൻ ആർട്‌സിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടിയ അദ്ദേഹം പിന്നീട് യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിംഗ്ഡത്തിലെ മിൽൻതോർപ്പിലുള്ള ലണ്ടൻ ആർട്ട് കോളേജിൽ ഹിസ്റ്ററി ഓഫ് ആർട്ട് കോഴ്‌സിൽ ചേർന്നു. 2012-ൽ, ന്യൂയോർക്ക്, യുഎസ്എയിലെ മ്യൂസിയം ഓഫ് മോഡേൺ ആർട്ട് (MoMA) സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച സമകാലിക ആർട്ട് കോഴ്‌സിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഹിന്ദു ആചാരങ്ങൾ, ഇന്ത്യൻ നാടോടിക്കഥകൾ, അതുപോലെ സമകാലിക സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രചോദനം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ട് സൃഷ്ടികൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന ഡിജിറ്റൽ കലയിലൂടെ അദ്ദേഹം എല്ലാറ്റിനും ഉപരിയായി സ്വയം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. 2007-ൽ ടൂറിനിൽ എയ്‌റോൺവി തോമസ് സ്ഥാപിച്ച ഇമാജിൻ & പോയസിയ എന്ന സാഹിത്യ കലാ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കും ബഹ്‌റൈനുമുള്ള പ്രതിനിധിയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം.[2].

2014-ൽ ലണ്ടനിലെ സാച്ചി ഗാലറി യിലെ മോഷൻ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി വിഭാഗത്തിനും Google+ ന്റെ ദി മോഷൻ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി പ്രൈസിനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഫൈനലിസ്റ്റുകളിൽ ഒരാളായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ജൂറി അംഗങ്ങൾ: സംവിധായകൻ ബാസ് ലുഹ്‌മാൻ, കലാകാരന്മാരായ ഷെസാദ് ദാവൂദ്, ട്രേസി എമിൻ, സിണ്ടി ഷെർമാൻ, സാച്ചി ഗാലറി സിഇഒ നൈജൽ ഹർസ്റ്റ് എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു.[3]

ഇറ്റലി, സ്വീഡൻ, ഫ്രാൻസ്, യുഎസ്എ, യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിംഗ്ഡം, ബൾഗേറിയ, ദക്ഷിണ കൊറിയ, ഉക്രെയ്ൻ, ബഹ്റൈൻ, സ്പെയിൻ, ഇന്ത്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രദർശനങ്ങളിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടികൾ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ബാംഗ്ലൂർ യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി, ബാച്ചിലർ ഓഫ് വിഷ്വൽ ആർട്‌സ് ബിരുദത്തിനുള്ള പാഠ്യപദ്ധതിയിൽ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ന്യൂ മീഡിയ ആർട്ട് ആന്റ് ടെക്‌നോളജി എന്ന അക്കാദമിക് കോഴ്‌സിൽ ഗോപകുമാർ ആറിന്റെ ഡിജിറ്റൽ ആർട്ട് പ്രാക്ടീസും ജീവചരിത്രവും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. [4].
