2010 ൽ ഡെൽഹിയിൽ നടന്ന കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസ് പത്തൊൻപാമത്തെതാണ്. കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസുകളുടെ പേരു അങ്ങനെ ആക്കിയതിനു ശേഷം നടക്കുന്ന ഒൻപതാമത്തേതുമാണ്. ഇത് ഡെൽഹിയിൽ ഒക്ടോബർ - 3 മുതൽ 14 വരെയാണ് നടന്നത്. 1951, 1982 ലേയും ഏഷ്യൻ ഗെയിംസിനു ശേഷം ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ഒരു വലിയ വൈവിധ്യ കായിക മത്സരപരിപാടിയാണ് ഇത്. ഇതിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടന ചടങ്ങും, സമാപനചടങ്ങും നടന്നത് ജവഹർ ലാൽ നെഹൃ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലാണ്.ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ആദ്യമായി നടന്ന കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് മത്സരങ്ങൾ കൂടിയാണ്. കൂടാതെ ഏഷ്യൻ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തേതുമായിരുന്നു ഇത്. ആദ്യം ഏഷ്യൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നടന്നത് 1998 ൽ മലേഷ്യയിലെ കോലാലം‌പൂരിലാണ്.

ഇപ്പോൾ ഉള്ളതും പുതുതായി പണിതതുമായ സ്റ്റേഡിയങ്ങൾ ഡെൽഹിയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് മത്സരങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു:[1]
