ബി.ബി.സി നാച്വറൽ ഹിസ്റ്ററി യൂണിറ്റ് നിർമ്മിച്ച ഒരു ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രകൃതി ഡോക്യുമെന്ററിയാണ് ബ്ലൂ പ്ലാനെറ്റ് II. അതിന്റെ മുൻഗാമിയായ ദ ബ്ലൂ പ്ലാനറ്റ് (2001) പോലെ പ്രകൃതിശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ സർ ഡേവിഡ് ആറ്റൻബറോ അവതരണവും ആഖ്യാനവും നിർവഹിചു.[1] ഹാൻസ് സിമ്മർ ആണ് പശ്ചാത്തലസംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത്.[2]

2017 ഒക്റ്റോബർ 29 നു സംപ്രേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ച ഈ പരമ്പര ഒരേസമയം ബിബിസി വൺ, ബിബിസി വൺ എച്ച്ഡി, ബിബിസി എർത്ത് എന്നീ ചാനലുകളിൽ ലഭ്യമായി. അതുവഴി യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിംഗ്ഡം, നോർഡിക് രാജ്യങ്ങൾ, യൂറോപ്യൻ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ, ഏഷ്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഒരേ ദിവസം തന്നെ സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യപെടുന്ന ആദ്യ ബിബിസി നേച്ചർ ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി പരമ്പര എന്ന നേട്ടം കൈവരിച്ചു.

പശ്ചാത്തലം[തിരുത്തുക]

2013 ലാണ് ഓഷ്യൻസ് എന്ന പേരിൽ ബി.ബി.സി ഈ പരമ്പര പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. 2017 ഫെബ്രുവരി 19 ന് ബ്ലൂ പ്ലാനെറ്റ് II എന്ന പേര് നൽകി.[3][4] ചിത്രീകരണത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ചിലവഴിച്ച നാല് വർഷത്തെ കാലയളവിൽ 39 രാജ്യങ്ങളിലായി 125 പര്യവേക്ഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്തി, 6,000 മണിക്കൂർ ദൈർഘ്യമേറിയ ഡൈവിംഗ് ഫൂട്ടേജ് നിർമിച്ചു.[5]

സംഗീതസംവിധായകൻ ഹാൻസ് സിമ്മർ ആണ് ബ്ലൂ പ്ലാനറ്റ് II ന് പശ്ചാത്തലസംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത്. 2017 സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് റോക്ക് ബാൻഡ് റേഡിയോഹെഡ് സിമ്മറോടൊപ്പം സഹകരിച്ച്, അവരുടെ 2011 ആൽബം കിംഗ്‌ ഓഫ് ലിംബ്സിലെ "ദി ബ്ലൂം" എന്ന ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ഒരു പുതിയ പതിപ്പ് ഈ പരമ്പരക്കുവേണ്ടി റെക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്യുകയുണ്ടായി.[6] 2001 ൽ ബി.ബി.സി സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്ത ആദ്യ ബ്ലൂ പ്ലാനറ്റ് പരമ്പരയിൽ നിന്നും പ്രചോദനം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ട്‌ നിർമിച്ചതാണ് ബ്ളൂം എന്ന ഗാനമെന്നും, അതിൻറെ രണ്ടാം പതിപ്പിൽ ബി.ബി.സി ഈ ഗാനം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിൽ വളരെയധികം സന്തോഷമുണ്ടെന്നും, റേഡിയോഹെഡ് ഗായകൻ തോം യോർക്ക് ഒരു പത്രക്കുറിപ്പിൽ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.

സംപ്രേഷണം[തിരുത്തുക]

ബിട്ടണിൽ പരമ്പരയുടെ ആദ്യപ്രദർശനം ബ്രിസ്റ്റോളിൽ സിനിമ ഡി ലക്സിൽ വച്ച് 2017 ഒക്ടോബർ 11 ന് നടന്നു. പ്രത്യേക അതിഥിയായ ആറ്റൻബറോയോടൊപ്പം നിർമ്മാതാക്കളും വന്യജീവി വിദഗ്ദ്ധരും പങ്കെടുത്തു. കഴിഞ്ഞ 60 വർഷക്കാലമായി ബി.ബി.സി.യിലെ നാച്വറൽ ഹിസ്റ്ററി പ്രോഗ്രാം ബ്രിസ്റ്റോൾ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് നിർമിച്ചു വരുന്നത്.[7][8][9] 2017 ഒക്റ്റോബർ 29 നാണ് ഈ പരമ്പര ആദ്യം സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്തത്.ഡോക്യുമെന്ററിയുടെ ആദ്യത്തെ ആറു എപ്പിസോഡുകളിൽ 10 മിനിറ്റ് ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള ഇൻ ടു ദ ബ്ലൂ എന്ന പേരിൽ മേക്കിംഗ് വീഡിയോ ഉൾപ്പെടെത്തിയിരുന്നു.

അന്താരാഷ്ട്രതലത്തിൽ കാനഡ (ബ്ലൂ ആന്റ് മീഡിയ) , ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ (ചാനൽ നയൻ) , ന്യൂസിലാൻഡ് (ടെലിവിഷൻ ന്യൂസിലാന്റ്) , സ്പയിൻ (ടെലിഫോണിക്ക), ഡെന്മാർക്ക്‌ (ഡിആർ), സ്വീഡൻ (എസ് വി റ്റി ) ജർമ്മനി (ഡബ്ലു ഡി ആർ) എന്നിവയുൾപ്പടെയുള്ള ഏകദേശം 30 രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ടെലിവിഷൻ ചാനലുകൾക്ക് പരമ്പര സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യാനുള്ള അവകാശം ബി.ബി.സി നേരത്തെ തന്നെ വിൽപ്പന ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.[10]
