സുരിനാം (ഔദ്യോഗികമായി റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ഓഫ് സുരിനാം) തെക്കേ അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഒരു രാജ്യമാണ്. തെക്കേ അമേരിക്കയിൽ സ്പാനിഷ് ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കാത്ത നാല് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് സുരിനാം. ഡച്ചാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷ. സ്പാനിഷ് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു രാജ്യവുമായും സുരിനാം അതിർത്തി പങ്കിടുന്നില്ല.

മുമ്പ് നെതർലാൻഡ്സ് ഗയാന, ഡച്ച് ഗയാന എന്നീ പേരുകളിലാണ് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. കിഴക്ക് ഗയാനയും പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഫ്രഞ്ച് ഗയാനയും തെക്ക് ബ്രസീലും വടക്ക് അറ്റ്ലാന്റിക് സമുദ്രവുമാണ് ഇതിന്റെ അതിരുകൾ. വിസ്തീർണവും ജനസംഖ്യയും കണക്കിലെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ തെക്കേ അമേരിക്കയിലെ പരമാധികാരമുള്ള ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ രാജ്യമാണിത്. ദക്ഷിണാർദ്ധ ഗോളത്തിൽ, ഡച്ച് ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു രാജ്യമാണ് സുരിനാം.
