ദക്ഷിണ അറ്റ്ലാന്റിക് സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ദ്വീപസമൂഹമാണ് ഫോക്ക്ലാന്റ് ദ്വീപുകൾ (സ്പാനിഷ്:ഐലാസ് മാൽവിനസ്)[2]. അർജന്റീനിയൻ തീരത്തുനിന്നും 300 മൈൽ (480 കിലോമീറ്റർ) ദൂരത്തായും, ഷാഗ് റോക്ക്സിന്റെ 671 മൈൽ (1,080 കിലോമീറ്റർ) പടിഞ്ഞാറായും, ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് അന്റാർട്ടിക് ഭൂവിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ and 584 മൈൽ (940 കിലോമീറ്റർ) വടക്കായുമാണ് ഇവ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ആകെ 776 ദ്വീപുകളാണ് ഇതിലുള്ളത്.[3] കിഴക്കൻ ഫോക്ൿലാന്റ് , പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഫോക്ൿലാന്റ് എന്നീ ദ്വീപുകളാണ് അവയിൽ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടവ. കിഴക്കൻ ഫോക്ൿലാന്റിലെ സ്റ്റാൻലിയാണ് തലസ്ഥാനം. യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിങ്ഡത്തിന്റെ, സ്വയം ഭരണാവകാശമുള്ള ഒരു വിദേശ പ്രദേശമാണ് ഫോക്ൿലാന്റ് ദ്വീപുകൾ.
