ട്രൈക്കോസ്റ്റിഗ്മ ഒക്ടാൻഡ്രം പെറ്റിവേറിയേസി കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഇനം പൂവിടുന്ന സസ്യമാണ്. നിയോട്രോപിക്‌സ് ആണ് ഇതിന്റെ ജന്മദേശം.[2] [3]ഇത് ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ hoopvine[4] (Florida), Black basket wythe, cooper's wythe, basket wiss or basket with, hoop with എന്നിങ്ങനെ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. സാധാരണ ഫ്രഞ്ച് പേരുകളിൽ ലിയാൻ പാനിയർ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ലിയാൻ എ ബാർക്യൂസ് ('ബാസ്കറ്റ് വൈൻ' അല്ലെങ്കിൽ 'ബാരൽ വൈൻ') എന്നും സ്പാനിഷ് പേരുകളിൽ ബെജൂക്കോ കാനസ്റ്റ, സോട്ടകാബല്ലോ, പാബെല്ലോ, (പ്യൂർട്ടോ റിക്കോ, മധ്യ അമേരിക്ക, ബാസ്കറ്റ് വൈൻ, ബദൽ കുതിര അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പവലിയൻ) എന്നിങ്ങനെ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ചെടിക്ക് ഔഷധ, നാരുകളുടെ ഉപയോഗമുണ്ട്.[5][6]
