ചൈന, തെക്കെ ഏഷ്യ, തെക്കുകിഴക്കേ ഏഷ്യ, തെക്കു പടിഞ്ഞാറെ ഏഷ്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ തദ്ദേശവാസിയായ ഒരു സപുഷ്പി സസ്യമാണ് കിണികിണിപ്പാല (Oxystelma esculentum).[2] നാട്ടുവൈദ്യങ്ങളിൽ[2] ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഈ ചെടിയുടെ ഫലങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷ്യയോഗ്യമാണ്.[3]
