ജെന്റിയാനാസി കുടുംബത്തിൽ പെടുന്ന 20 ഇനം[1]ഹെർബേഷ്യസ് ചിരസ്ഥായി സസ്യങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു ജനുസ്സാണ് ഗോസ്റ്റ്പ്ലാന്റ്സ്' എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന വോയ്റിയ. [2]പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലും മധ്യ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലും കാണപ്പെടുന്ന വോയ്റിയ പ്രിമുലോയിഡ്സ് ഒഴികെ കരീബിയൻ, മധ്യ അമേരിക്ക, തെക്കേ അമേരിക്ക എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ മിതശീതോഷ്ണ, ഉഷ്ണമേഖലാ പ്രദേശങ്ങളാണ് ഇവയുടെ ജന്മദേശം.
