ഒരു സമാധാന അദ്ധ്യാപകയും, സമാധാന പ്രവർത്തകയും, സുരക്ഷാ പ്രാക്ടീഷണറും, അഭിഭാഷകയും എഴുത്തുകാരിയുമാണ് കീർത്തി ജയകുമാർ (ജനനം: ഡിസംബർ 15, 1987).[1] കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് സ്കോളർ, ഒരു വൈറ്റൽ വോയ്‌സ് (വിവി) ലീഡ് ഫെല്ലോ, ഒരു വിവി എൻഗേജ് ഫെലോ, ഒരു ലോക്കൽ പാത്ത്‌വേസ് ഫെല്ലോ, വേൾഡ് പൾസ് ഇംപാക്റ്റ് ലീഡർ എന്നീ നിലകളിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന അവർ റോയൽ സൊസൈറ്റി ഓഫ് ആർട്‌സിന്റെ ഫെല്ലോ കൂടിയാണ്.

ഗവേഷണം, റിപ്പോർട്ടേജ്, ഡോക്യുമെന്റേഷൻ എന്നിവയിലൂടെ ലിംഗഭേദം, സമാധാനം, സുരക്ഷ, ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റ് വിദേശനയം, പരിവർത്തന നീതി എന്നിവയുടെ ക്രോസ് സെക്ഷനിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സംരംഭമായ ദി ജെൻഡർ സെക്യൂരിറ്റി പ്രോജക്ട് അവർ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. മുമ്പ്, അവർ കഥപറച്ചിൽ, സിവിലിയൻ സമാധാനം കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കൽ, ലിംഗസമത്വത്തിനായുള്ള ആക്ടിവിസം എന്നിവയിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സംരംഭം ആയ ദ റെഡ് എലിഫന്റ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ജീവചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]

ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ബാംഗ്ലൂരിൽ ഒരു ഹിന്ദു മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ മകളായി ആണ് കീർത്തി ജയകുമാർ ജനിച്ചത്. തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ ചെന്നൈയിലെ സ്‌കൂൾ ഓഫ് എക്‌സലൻസ് ഇൻ ലോയിൽ നിന്നാണ് അവർ നിയമബിരുദം നേടിയത്.[2][3]

കോസ്റ്റാറിക്കയിലെ യുപീസിൽ[4] നിന്നും സമകാലിക ലോകത്തെ സുസ്ഥിര സമാധാനം എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ എംഎയും കോമൺവെൽത്ത് സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പിൽ കവൻട്രി യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിലെ സെന്റർ ഫോർ ട്രസ്റ്റ്, പീസ് ആൻഡ് സെക്യൂരിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് സമാധാന, സംഘർഷ പഠനങ്ങളിൽ എംഎയും നേടി. കീർത്തി യുഎൻ ഓൺലൈൻ വോളന്റിയറായി ജോലി ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.[5]

ലിംഗാധിഷ്ഠിത അക്രമ വാദവും സമാധാന പ്രവർത്തനവും[തിരുത്തുക]

സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അവകാശ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങൾ, സമാധാനവും സംഘർഷവും എന്നീ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ഒരു പ്രവർത്തകയാണ് കീർത്തി. അവർ മുമ്പ് റെഡ് എലിഫന്റ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.[6][7] നിലവിൽ, അവർ ലിംഗ സുരക്ഷാ പദ്ധതിയായ ഗെൻഡർ സെക്യൂരിറ്റി പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് നടത്തുന്നു. യുഎൻ ഓൺലൈൻ വോളന്റിയറിംഗ് പ്രോഗ്രാമിലൂടെ "16 സിവിൽ സൊസൈറ്റികളിലും യുഎൻ ഏജൻസികളിലും"[5] അവർ സന്നദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[8] അവർ ഡെക്കാൻ ക്രോണിക്കിൾ/ഏഷ്യൻ ഏജിലെ കോളമിസ്റ്റ് കൂടിയാണ്.[9]

സാറാ ബ്രൗൺ നടത്തുന്ന എ വേൾഡ് അറ്റ് സ്കൂളിൽ ഒരു ഗ്ലോബൽ യൂത്ത് അംബാസഡറാണ് കീർത്തി.[10][11]

ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള ലിംഗാധിഷ്ഠിത അക്രമങ്ങളെ അതിജീവിക്കുന്നവരെ പിന്തുണയ്‌ക്കുന്നതിനായി കീർത്തി 'സാഹസ്' എന്ന മൊബൈൽ ആപ്പ് കോഡ് ചെയ്‌ത് സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ചു.[12][13][14][15][16][17] ഗ്ലോബൽ ഇന്നൊവേഷൻ എക്സ്ചേഞ്ചിൽ സാഹസ് ലിസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.[18] SM4E അവാർഡിന് കീഴിൽ DEF ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്ന് ആപ്പിന് അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു.[19] സാഹസിനൊപ്പമുള്ള അവരുടെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്, WATC 100 വിമൻ ഇൻ ടെക് ലിസ്റ്റിന്റെ ഷോർട്ട്‌ലിസ്റ്റിൽ കീർത്തി ഇടംപിടിച്ചു.[20] സാഹസ് മൊബൈൽ ആപ്പ്, ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് ചാറ്റ്ബോട്ട്, ടെലഗ്രാം ചാറ്റ്ബോട്ട് എന്നിവയിലൂടെ വിവരങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഹെൽപ്പ് ലൈനുകളിലേക്കും ഉള്ള ആക്‌സസ് നൽകുന്നു.[21][22][23]

അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് ആഫ്രിക്കൻ എന്ട്രെപ്രെനേഴ്സുമായി (AAE)[24] ചേർന്ന് ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ സംരംഭകത്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള രണ്ട് ഇ-ബുക്കുകൾ അവർ എഴുതി, കൂടാതെ 2013 വരെ കുട്ടികൾക്കായി ഒരു സ്‌കൂൾ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്ന നൈജീരിയയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമമായ ഓകോയിജൊറോഗുവിൽ ആദ്യത്തെ സ്‌കൂൾ തുറക്കുന്നതിനായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഒരു ടീമിന്റെ തലവനായിരുന്നു അവർ.[25]

പേനയും മഷിയും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് "സെൻ ഡൂഡിലുകൾ" ക്യൂറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു കലാകാരിയാണ് കീർത്തി.[26] ലിംഗസമത്വത്തിനും സമാധാന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള തന്റെ ആക്ടിവിസം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു മാർഗമായി അവൾ ഡൂഡിംഗ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.[27]

അവർ ഫെംസൈക്ലോപീഡിയ[28][29][30] എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു ഇൻസ്റ്റാഗ്രാം അധിഷ്‌ഠിത പ്രോജക്‌റ്റ് നടത്താറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു, അവിടെ അവർ ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളെ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പോർട്രെയ്‌റ്റുകൾ ഡൂഡിൽ ചെയ്യുകയും ഈ പോർട്രെയ്‌റ്റുകൾക്ക് കീഴിൽ അവരുടെ കഥകൾ ക്യൂറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.[31] ഫെംസൈക്ലോപീഡിയയുടെ കഥയ്ക്ക് ഫെബ്രുവരിയിൽ വേൾഡ് പൾസിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു സ്റ്റോറി അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു. ഫെംസൈക്ലോപീഡിയയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ചെന്നൈയിലെ യുഎസ് കോൺസുലേറ്റ് ജനറലിൽ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വനിതാ ദിനത്തിനും വനിതാ ചരിത്ര മാസത്തിനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഒരു പ്രദർശനം കീർത്തി ക്യൂറേറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.[32][33][34]

2021-ൽ, കീർത്തി ഇൻസ്റ്റാഗ്രാം അധിഷ്‌ഠിത ആർട്ട് പ്രോജക്‌റ്റ് എ ഗേൾ ആൻഡ് എ ഗാലക്‌സി സ്ഥാപിച്ചു, അവിടെ അവർ ജ്യോതിശാസ്ത്ര കലയിൽ മുഴുകുന്നു.

എഴുത്ത്[തിരുത്തുക]

ചെറുകഥകളുടെ സമാഹാരം അടങ്ങുന്ന കീർത്തിയുടെ ആദ്യ സോളോ പുസ്തകമാണ് സ്റ്റോറീസ് ഓഫ് ഹോപ്പ്. ഡെൽറ്റ വിമൻ എൻ‌ജി‌ഒയുടെ സ്ഥാപകയായ എൽസി ഇജോറോഗു-റീഡിനൊപ്പം ലവ് മി മാമ: ദ അൺഫേവർഡ് ചൈൽഡ് എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിന് അവർ സഹ-രചയിതാവായി.[35] റീഡോമാനിയ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ദ ഡോവ്സ് ലാമെറ്റിൻറെ രചയിതാവ് കൂടിയാണ് അവർ. ഈ പുസ്തകം 2015-ലെ മ്യൂസ് ഇന്ത്യ യംഗ് ഓതേഴ്‌സ് അവാർഡിന് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.[36] ദി ഡോവ്‌സ് ലാമെന്റിനെപ്രതിയുള്ള ഫെമിനയിൽ ഒരു അവലോകനം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[37] ടൈംസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയും ദി ഡോവ്സ് ലാമെറ്റിൻ്റെ അവലോകനം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[38]

തിയേറ്റർ[തിരുത്തുക]

കീർത്തി ഫ്രാങ്ക്ലി സ്പീക്കിംഗ്,[39][40] എന്ന ഒരു നാടകം എഴുതി, അത് ആൻ ഫ്രാങ്കിന്റെ ഡയറി അവസാനിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് നിന്നാണ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ലോകത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലുള്ള സംഘർഷ മേഖലകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള എട്ട് യുവതികളുടെ ശബ്ദം ഈ നാടകം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, കൂടാതെ ദി ഡയറി ഓഫ് ആൻ ഫ്രാങ്കിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഭാഗങ്ങളും ഇതിൽ കൂടിച്ചേർക്കുന്നു.[41][42][43]

ചരിത്രത്തിലെ പന്ത്രണ്ട് സ്ത്രീകളെ കവിതയിലൂടെ ജീവസുറ്റതാക്കുന്ന ഹെർസ്റ്റോറി എന്ന നാടകം അവർ എഴുതുകയും അഭിനയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[44] ക്രിയ-ശക്തിയുടെ ഡോൾസിൻറെ ഭാഗമായി കീർത്തി ഒരു മോണോലോഗ് എഴുതി അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[45]

ജസ്റ്റിസ് ലീലാ സേത്ത്, മായാവതി, ജയലളിത, ദീപ കർമ്മാകർ, ഷാ ബാനോ ബീഗം, ടെസ്സി തോമസ്, ഗൗരി സാവന്ത് എന്നിവരുടെ കഥകൾ വിവരിച്ച അപർണ ജെയിന്റെ "ലൈക്ക് എ ഗേൾ" എന്ന ഓഡിയോബുക്ക് പതിപ്പിനും കീർത്തി തന്റെ ശബ്ദം നൽകി.[46]

പൊതു സംസാരം[തിരുത്തുക]

2016 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ, കീർത്തി TEDxചെന്നൈയിൽ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തൽ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ഒരു പരിഹാരമായി സമാധാന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള തന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്ത് ഒരു ടെഡ്‍എക്സ് ടോക്ക് നടത്തി.[47][48] 2017 നവംബറിൽ, TEDxChoice-ൽ അവൾ അവരുടെ കലാ പദ്ധതിയായ ഫെംസൈക്ലോപീഡിയയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് TEDx ടോക്ക് നടത്തി.[49]

2016 നവംബറിൽ, പൂനെയിൽ നടന്ന നാഷണൽ എഡ്യു-സ്റ്റാർട്ട് അപ്പ് കോൺഫറൻസിൽ അവർ നല്ല പൗരന്മാരെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സുസ്ഥിര പരിഹാരമെന്ന നിലയിൽ സമാധാന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി.[50]

ദി റെഡ് എലിഫന്റ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷനുമൊത്തുള്ള തന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും ജിബിവി ഹെൽപ്പ് മാപ്പിന്റെ ക്യൂറേഷനെക്കുറിച്ചും കീർത്തി, ലക്ഷ്യ-എസ്എസ്എൻ-ന്റെ വാർഷിക പരിപാടിയായ സൈക്കോണിൽ ഒരു സംസാരിച്ചു.[51] ലിംഗസമത്വ മേഖലയിൽ ഒരു സാമൂഹിക സംരംഭകയെന്ന നിലയിൽ തന്റെ കഥയെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ച അവർ എസ്ആർഎം ആരംഭിലെ മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷകയായിരുന്നു.[52]

2017 ഏപ്രിലിൽ റോട്ടറി ക്ലബ്ബ് ഓഫ് മദ്രാസ് സൗത്തിൽ "സ്ത്രീ ശാക്തീകരണം: മിഥ്യകളും യാഥാർത്ഥ്യങ്ങളും" എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ കീർത്തി സംസാരിച്ചു.[53] 2018 മാർച്ചിൽ നടന്ന ഇക്കണോമിക് ടൈംസ് വനിതാ ഉച്ചകോടിയിൽ അവർ തന്റെ ആപ്പായ സാഹസിൻറെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചു.[54]

ISFIT 2019-ൽ തവക്കോൾ കർമാൻ, ഗ്രോ ഹാർലെം ബ്രണ്ട്‌ലൻഡ് എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പം ഒരു സ്പീക്കറായിരുന്നു കീർത്തി.[55][56] 2021 മാർച്ചിൽ, യുഎൻ ജനറൽ അസംബ്ലി പ്രസിഡന്റ് വിളിച്ചുചേർത്ത ഒരു പ്രത്യേക സെഷനിൽ കീർത്തി സംസാരിച്ചു.[57]

അവാർഡുകളും അംഗീകാരങ്ങളും[തിരുത്തുക]

യു.എസ് കോൺസൽ ജനറൽ ജെന്നിഫർ മക്കിന്റൈറിൽ നിന്ന് യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സ് പ്രസിഡൻഷ്യൽ സർവീസ് അവാർഡ് നേടിയ വ്യക്തിയാണ് കീർത്തി.[58][59][60] സ്വർണം, വെള്ളി, വെങ്കലം എന്നീ പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ അവർ നേടി. ഡെൽറ്റ വിമൻ, അസോസിയേഷൻ ഫോർ ആഫ്രിക്കൻ എന്റർപ്രണേഴ്‌സ് എന്നിവയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പമുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന് 2012ലും 2013ലും യുണൈറ്റഡ് നേഷൻസ് ഓൺലൈൻ വോളന്റിയറിംഗ് അവാർഡുകൾ അവർക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു.[61]

2015-ൽ, ഷീ ദി പീപ്പിൾ ടിവി അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഡിജിറ്റൽ വുമൺ അവാർഡ് 2015-ലേക്ക് കീർത്തി നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.[62]

2016 മാർച്ചിൽ, ഡെവലപ്‌മെന്റ് വാൾ ഓഫ് ഫെയിമിലെ യൂറോപ്യൻ യൂണിയനിലെ മികച്ച 200 വനിതകളിൽ ഒരാളായിരുന്നു അവർ. 2016 ലെ യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഓഫ് വുമണിലേക്ക് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടവരിൽ ഒരാളായിരുന്നു അവർ.[63] രണ്ട് തവണ വേൾഡ് പൾസിന്റെ കഥാ അവാർഡ് ജേതാവായ അവരുടെ കൃതികൾ ടൈം മാഗസിൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.[6][64]

"പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചിന്തയും കഠിനാധ്വാനവും കൊണ്ട് നഗരത്തെ മാറ്റിമറിക്കുന്ന" ചെന്നൈ നഗരത്തിലെ "ഗെയിം ചേഞ്ചർ"മാരിൽ ഒരാളായി കീർത്തിയെ ഇന്ത്യാ ടുഡേ അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[65]

ചെന്നൈയിലെ FICCI FLO യിൽ ഒരു സമ്മേളനത്തെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞ സ്പീക്കറായിരുന്നു അവർ.[66]

2016 സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ, വീ ആർ ദി സിറ്റി ഇന്ത്യയുടെ 2016 ലെ റൈസിംഗ് സ്റ്റാർസ് അവാർഡിന്റെ ഷോർട്ട്‌ലിസ്റ്റ് ആയ കീർത്തി, [67] അതിൽ വിജയിച്ചു. 2016 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ, 52Feminists.com അവരെ "52 ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റുകളിൽ" ഒരാളായി അംഗീകരിച്ചു.[68]

2016 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ, ഷീ ദി പീപ്പിൾ ടിവി അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഡിജിറ്റൽ വുമൺ അവാർഡ് 2016-ൽ ബർഗണ്ടി അച്ചീവറായി കീർത്തി അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[69] 2016 നവംബറിൽ ഗ്ലോബൽ പീസ് ഇനിഷ്യേറ്റീവിൽ നിന്ന് അവർക്ക് സമാധാന അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു.[70][71] 2016 നവംബറിൽ വേൾഡ് പൾസിൽ ഇംപാക്റ്റ് ലീഡറായി അവർ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[72] വിമൻസ് വെബ് നൽകുന്ന വീഡിയോ ബ്ലോഗിംഗിനുള്ള ഓറഞ്ച് ഫ്ലവർ അവാർഡ് അവർ നേടി.[73][74] യുഎൻ സെക്രട്ടറി ജനറൽ അന്റോണിയോ ഗുട്ടെറസ്, ഹാരിയറ്റ് ലാംബ്, ജകായ കിക്‌വെറ്റെ എന്നിവർക്കൊപ്പം സാറാ ബ്രൗണിന്റെ ബെറ്റർ ഏഞ്ചൽസ് പോഡ്‌കാസ്റ്റിൽ കീർത്തി ഫീച്ചർ ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.[75]
