Parameter Description
Lead section: For all infoboxes
name Name of power station
official_name Official name, if different from name. Preferably in native language.
image Image filename, without File: parameter.

Animated (.gif) and media files (.ogv) are allowed, although browsers such as IE are unable to play this type of file; avoid using.

image_size Avoid using: Overrides the default 250px
image_alt Alternative text for images.
image_caption Caption beneath image
location_map Name of a location map file. The coordinates must be specified as well (see below).
location_map_width Avoid using: Overrides the default 250px
location_map_text Caption beneath the location map
lat_d Latitude degrees.
lat_m Latitude minutes. Omit or leave blank if lat_d is in decimal format.
lat_s Latitude seconds. Omit or leave blank if lat_d is in decimal format. Remember to avoid being overly precise.
lat_NS Northern or Southern latitude (enter N or S). Omit or leave blank if lat_d is in decimal format.
long_d Longitude degrees.
long_m Longitude minutes. Omit or leave blank if long_d is in decimal format.
long_s Longitude seconds. Omit or leave blank if long_d is in decimal format. Remember to avoid being overly precise.
long_EW Longitude East or West (enter E or W). Omit or leave blank if long_d is in decimal format.
coordinates_type Optional parameter to add additional coordinate functions. See here for more details.
coordinates_display Display the coordinates inline or title, or both as inline,title.
coordinates_ref Use this field to add references to the coordinates.
country Country where the facility is located. Do not use flag icons, as this places an unnecessary emphasis on nationality; see MOS:FLAG for a detailed rationale.
location General area where located. Avoid being overly-detailed.
status State of the project. Enter any one of the following auto-expanding fields:

P=Proposed, U=Under construction, O=Operational, M=Mothballed, D=Decommissioned.

construction_began Date construction of the first unit began, consider using {{Start date}}.
commissioned Date commissioned, or to be commissioned, of the first unit. Consider using {{Start date}}.
licence_expires Date licence for the last unit expires.
decommissioned Date decommissioned, or to be decommissioned, of the last unit. Consider using {{End date}}.
cost Total cost of development
owner Owner(s) of the power station. Consider limiting to the top two, and include ownership percentage.

Example: Owner1: 60% <br/>Owner2: 40%

operator Plant operator(s). If different from owner.
developer Plant developer(s). If different from owner.
constructor Building/contracting companies.
Geothermal Power Stations
geothermal_type The type of geothermal power station. Enter any one of the following auto-expanding fields:

DS=Dry steam, FS=Flash steam, BC=Binary cycle.

geothermal_wells Number of geothermal wells.
max_well_depth Depth of the deepest well.
temp_requirement Minimum temperature requirement of geothermal source. Consider using: {{Convert|XX|C|F|0|abbr=on}}
thermal_power_geo MWt capacity.
cogeneration_geo Is the power station a cogeneration type? Add Yes or No.
geo_turbine_mw Number of generators (turbines), and its corresponding gross megawatt capacity.

Example: 10 × 250 MW. For multiple generator capacities, use the <br/> function.

Hydroelectric Power Stations (Pumped-storage)
upper_reservoir Name of upper reservoir.
upper_res_capacity Water capacity of upper reservoir.
upper_res_catchment Catchment area of upper reservoir.
upper_res_area Surface area of upper reservoir.
upper_res_depth Average water depth of upper reservoir.
lower_reservoir Name of lower reservoir.
lower_res_capacity Water capacity of lower reservoir.
lower_res_catchment Catchment area of lower reservoir.
lower_res_area Surface area of lower reservoir.
lower_res_depth Average water depth of lower reservoir.
penstocks Number of penstocks from the upper reservoir to the power station.
pump_gen_units Number of units used for both generating and pumping.

If these units are not used together, use the two parameters immediately below.

ps_gen_units Number of generation units of the pumped-storage power station, if pump_gen_units don't apply.
turbine_manu_psp Manufacturers/suppliers of turbine(s)
pumping_units Number of pumping units to the upper reservoir, if pump_gen_units don't apply.
hydraulic_head Hydraulic head from upper reservoir.
upper_res_spillways Number of spillways for the upper reservoir.
upper_res_discharge Maximum spillway discharge capacity of upper reservoir.
lower_res_spillways Number of spillways for the lower reservoir.
lower_res_discharge Maximum spillway discharge capacity of lower reservoir.
Nuclear Power Stations
reactors_operate_mw Number of reactors operational, and its corresponding gross megawatte capacity.

Example: 12 × 600 MW. For multiple reactors capacities, use the <br/> function.

reactors_const_mw Number of reactors under construction, and its corresponding future gross megawatte capacity.

Example: 12 × 600 MW. For multiple reactors capacities, use the <br/> function.

reactors_planned_mw Number of reactors planned, and its corresponding future gross megawatte capacity.

Example: 12 × 600 MW. For multiple reactors capacities, use the <br/> function.

reactors_decom_mw Number of reactors decommissioned, and its corresponding gross megawatte capacity.

Example: 12 × 600 MW. For multiple reactors capacities, use the <br/> function.

reactors_cancel_mw Number of planned reactors cancelled, and former potential future gross megawatte capacity. Not to be confused with reactors_decom_mw below.

Example: 12 × 600 MW. For multiple reactors capacities, use the <br/> function.

reactor_type The type(s) of reactors currently in use, and its corresponding number of reactors. For multiple reactors types, you may use the <br/> function.

For power stations using a single type of reactor, enter any one of the following auto-expanding fields:

PWR=PWR, BWR=BWR, PHWR=PHWR, RBMK=RBMK, GCR=GCR, AGR=AGR, FBR=FBR, PBR=PBR, MSR=MSR, AHR=AHR.

Solar Power Stations
solar_farm_type The type of solar technology in use. Enter any one of the following auto-expanding fields:

PV=Flat-panel PV, CPV=CPV, CSP=CSP

pv_units Number of Flat-panel PV units.
cpv_units Number of CPV units.
cpv_concentration Concentration of CPV plant: Low, Medium, or High. See also: Types of CPV.
csp_technology The CSP technology in use. Enter any one of the following auto-expanding fields:

D=Dish Stirling, T=Solar power tower, F=Fresnel reflector, or P=parabolic trough.

csp_units Number of CSP units in use.
heliostats Number of heliostats.
thermal_power_solar MWt capacity.
cpvt Is the power station a CPVT type? Add Yes or No.
turbine_manu_csp Manufacturers/suppliers of turbine(s)

Tidal Power Stations
tidal_technology The tidal technology in use. Enter any one of the following auto-expanding fields. For tidal barrage technology, please use infobox dam.

TSG=Tidal stream generator, DTP=Dynamic tidal power

tsg_type Type of tidal stream generator.
tsg_turbines_mw Number of tidal stream generators and its corresponding gross megawatt capacity.

Example: 10 × 250 MW. For multiple generator capacities, use the <br/> function.

dtp_turbines_mw Number of generators (turbines) of the dynamic tidal power structure, and its corresponding gross megawatt capacity.

Example: 10 × 250 MW. For multiple generator capacities, use the <br/> function.

turbine_manu_tide Manufacturers/suppliers of turbine(s)
dtp_perp_length Perpendicular length of the dynamic tidal power structure.
dtp_para_length Parallel length of the dynamic tidal power structure.

Wind Farms
wind_turbines Number of wind turbines in the wind farm.
turbine_manu Manufacturer of the wind turbines (e.g. Vestas, General Electric, etc).

For multiple manufacturers, use the <br/> function.

turbine_model Manufacturer's model code for wind turbines (e.g. V80, GE2.5XL, etc)

For multiple models, use the <br/> function.

hub_height Height of the wind turbine towers from base to hub. Consider using: {{Convert|XX|m|ft|0|abbr=on}}

If multiple types of turbines are in use, enter the maximum value.

rotor_diameter Diameter of wind turbine rotor. Consider using: {{Convert|XX|m|ft|0|abbr=on}}

If multiple types of turbines are in use, enter the maximum value.

rated_wind_speed Rated wind speed of the wind turbine model. Consider using: {{Convert|XX|m/s|ft/s|1|abbr=on}}

If multiple types of turbines are in use, enter the minimum value.

wind_farm_type Type of wind farm (Onshore, Nearshore, Offshore). See also Types of wind farms.
onshore_elevation Average ground altitude (don't add hub height) for Onshore wind farms. Consider using: {{Convert|XX|m|ft|0|abbr=on}}
onshore_land_use Ground usage of Onshore wind farms (e.g. Farm land, desert, etc).
onshore_area Land area used for entire facility. Consider using: {{Convert|XX|km2|mi2|0|abbr=on}}

average_annual_gen Average annual gross power generation of the previous whole year. Ends automatically with "GWh".
net_generation Gross power generation since commissioning of the power station. Ends automatically with "GWh".
website Official website.
as_of Date infobox facts last updated. Not for mere typo or text fixes; use this date to reflect the current power station facts.
extra Use this field to add an additional infobox within this infobox. Example.

Microformat[തിരുത്തുക]

The HTML mark up produced by this template includes an hCard microformat, which makes the place-name and location parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue article across Wikipedia, or via a browser tool operated by a person, to (for example) add the subject to an address book. Within the hCard is a Geo microformat, which additionally makes the coordinates (latitude & longitude) parsable, so that they can be, say, looked up on a map, or downloaded to a GPS unit. If the place or venue has an "established", "founded", "opened" or similar date, use {{start date}} (unless the date is before 1583 CE).
