വടക്കേ അമേരിക്കയിൽ കണ്ട് വരുന്ന ഒരിനം ചെമ്മരിയാടാണ് ബിഗ് ഹോൺ ഷീപ്പ്. വിചിത്രമായ വളഞ്ഞ കൊമ്പുകൾ കാരണമാണ് ഈ പേര് ലഭിച്ചത്. കൊമ്പുകൾക്ക് ഏകദേശം 14 കിലോ വരെ ഭാരം കാണും. പെണ്ണാടിന്റെ കൊമ്പിന് ആണാടിന്റെ കൊമ്പിനോളം വളവില്ല. കൂട്ടമായാണ് ഇവ കഴിയുന്നത്. ചെന്നായ, കരടി, കൂഗർ, ബോബ് കാറ്റ് തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് ഇവയെ പ്രധാനമായും ഇരപിടിക്കുന്നത്.
