ഒരു മുഗൾ രാജകുമാരിയും, മുഗൾ ചക്രവർത്തിയായ ഷാജഹാൻറെ മൂത്തപുത്രനും[1] കിരീടാവകാശിയുമായ ദാര ഷുക്കോഹിന്റെ[2] ഭാര്യയും ആയിരുന്നു നാദിറ ബാനു ബീഗം (14 മാർച്ച് 1618 - ജൂൺ 6, 1659). ഔറംഗസേബ് അധികാരത്തിലെത്തിയപ്പോൾ ദാരയുടെയും അടുത്ത ബന്ധുക്കളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അനുയായികളും കനത്ത അപകടത്തിലായി. ഭർത്താവിന്റെ വധത്തിനു ഏതാനും മാസങ്ങൾക്കുമുമ്പ് നാദിറ 1659-ൽ മരണമടഞ്ഞു. രണ്ട് ആൺമക്കളും ഒരു മകളും അതിജീവിച്ചു.
