കാരിയോഫില്ലേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു പൂച്ചെടിയാണ് സൈലീൻ കോഗ്നാറ്റ (സിൻ. ലിച്നിസ് കോഗ്നാറ്റ). കിഴക്കൻ, വടക്കൻ ചൈന, കൊറിയൻ പെനിൻസുല, റഷ്യയിലെ പ്രിമോർസ്‌കി ക്രായ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് തദ്ദേശീയമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. [1][2][3]ഓറഞ്ച് ക്യാമ്പിയൻ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഓറഞ്ച് ക്യാച്ച്‌ഫ്ലൈ എന്നും ഇതറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് 500 മുതൽ 2000 മീറ്റർ വരെ ഉയരത്തിലുള്ള വൈവിധ്യമാർന്ന ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥകളിൽ ഇത് കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.[4]സാധാരണയായി ലിച്നിസ് കോഗ്നാറ്റ എന്ന പര്യായത്തിൽ ഇത് വാണിജ്യ വിതരണക്കാരിൽ നിന്ന് വല്ലപ്പോഴും ലഭ്യമാണ്. [5]കൊറിയയിൽ ഇതിന്റെ ഇലകൾ കാട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ശേഖരിക്കുകയും പ്രാദേശിക വിപണികളിൽ ഭക്ഷണമായി വിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.[6]
