ഇറ്റലിയിലെ സ്റ്റിഗാനോയിൽ ജനനം. തത്ത്വശാസ്ത്രത്തിലും തിയോളജിയിലും ധാരാളം പഠനങ്ങൾ നടത്തി. സൂര്യന്റെ നഗരം എന്ന കൃതി ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. എല്ലാത്തരം ആക്രമണങ്ങളെയും എതിർക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെയും പരസ്പരസഹകരണത്തോടെ വർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെയും പ്രാധാന്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നതാണ് ഈ കൃതി.
