ഫാബേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഇനം പൂച്ചെടിയാണ് ഇൻഡിഗോഫെറ പെൻഡുല, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വീപ്പിംഗ് ഇൻഡിഗോ .[1][2]ദക്ഷിണ-മധ്യ ചൈനയിൽ ഈ ഇനം തദ്ദേശീയമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ ഇനം 'ഷാംഗ്രി-ല' റോയൽ ഹോർട്ടികൾച്ചറൽ സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ ഗാർഡൻ മെറിറ്റ് അവാർഡ് നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[3]
