റോസേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ പൂച്ചെടികളുടെ ഒരു ജനുസ്സാണ് അൽനിയാരിയ.[1] ചൈന, തായ്വാൻ, കൊറിയ, ജപ്പാൻ, ഫാർ ഈസ്റ്റേൺ റഷ്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് തദ്ദേശീയമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. 2018-ൽ ഇതിനെ ജനുസ് സോർബസിൽ നിന്ന് (സെൻസു ലാറ്റോ) വേർപെടുത്തുകയുണ്ടായി.[2]
