ബഹാമാസ് (ഔദ്യോഗികമായി കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഓഫ് ബഹാമാസ്) ഒരു സ്വതത്രവും പരമാധികാരമുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു ദ്വീപ് രാജ്യമാണ്. 2000-ലധികം കേയ്കളും 700-ലധികം ദ്വീപുകളും ഈ ദ്വീപസമൂഹത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. അറ്റ്ലാന്റിക് സമുദ്രത്തിലാണ് ഈ രാജ്യം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സിന്റെ തെക്ക്-കിഴക്കായും ക്യൂബ, ഹിസ്പാനിയോള, കരീബിയൻ കടൽ എന്നിവയുടെ വടക്കായും ടർക് ആന്റ് കയ്സ്കോ ദ്വീപുകളുടെ വടക്ക്-പടിഞ്ഞാറായുമാണ് ഇതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം. നസൗ ആണ് തലസ്ഥാനം.
