റിമാ ദാസ് രചനയും സംവിധാനവും നിർവ്വഹിച്ച് 2017-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ആസ്സാമീസ് ഉപഭാഷയായ കാമരൂപിയിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച ചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് വില്ലേജ് റോക്ക് സ്റ്റാർസ് (ആസ്സാമീസ്: ভিলেজ ৰকষ্টাৰছ্). [1]സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു ഗിറ്റാർ വാങ്ങുന്നതും കൂട്ടുകാരുമൊത്ത് ഒരു റോക്ക് ബാൻഡ് തുടങ്ങുന്നതും സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു ജീവിക്കുന്ന ധനു എന്ന പത്തു വയസ്സുകാരി പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ കഥയാണ് ചിത്രം പറയുന്നത്.[2] ആസാമിലെ ഒരു കുഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെയും അവിടുത്തെ ദരിദ്രകുടുംബങ്ങളുടെയും പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ കഥ പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നത്.[2] 2017ലെ അറുപത്തഞ്ചാമത് ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരദാനച്ചടങ്ങിൽ മികച്ച ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള ദേശീയ പുരസ്കാരം ഈ ചിത്രത്തിനു ലഭിച്ചു.[3]ഇതിനുപുറമേ മികച്ച ബാലതാരം, മികച്ച ലൊക്കേഷൻ സൗണ്ട് റെക്കോർഡിസ്റ്റ്, മികച്ച എഡിറ്റിംഗ് എന്നിങ്ങനെ മൂന്നു വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലായി വില്ലേജ് റോക്ക്സ്റ്റാർസ് പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2018 ൽ ഓസ്കാറിലേക്ക് ഈ ചിത്രത്തെയാണ് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്ന് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്.[4]

കഥാസംഗ്രഹം[തിരുത്തുക]

വടക്ക്-കിഴക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ അൻസാമിലെ ചയാഗൺ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ പത്ത് വയസുകാരനായ ധനു (ബനിത ദാസ്), വിധവയായ അമ്മ (ബസന്തി ദാസ്), ഇളയ സഹോദരൻ മാനബെന്ദ്ര (മാനബെന്ദ്ര ദാസ്) എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പം താമസിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു പ്രാദേശിക പരിപാടിയിൽ അമ്മയെ ലഘുഭക്ഷണം വിൽക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. അവൾ സ്വന്തം റോക്ക് ബാൻഡ്സംഘം സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നു. ധനു എന്ന പെൺകുട്ടിയിലൂടെ ഊർജ്ജസ്വലത, ഭാവന, ആത്മവിശ്വാസങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയുള്ള പെൺജീവിത്തെ വരച്ചിടുന്നു.ഒരേസമയം സാമർത്ഥ്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും ധീരയുമായ, ധനു ഒരു കോമിക്ക് പുസ്തകം വായിക്കുകയും യഥാർഥ ഉപകരണം പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ബാൻഡ് രൂപപ്പെടുത്താൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.ഒരു സ്ക്രാപ്പ് പത്രത്തിൽ ഒരു ലേഖനം വായിച്ച്, ഗിറ്റാർ കൈവശം വച്ചാൽ പോസിറ്റീവ് എനർജി ലഭിക്കുമെന്ന അറിവ് ലഭിക്കുന്നു.അങ്ങനെ ഗിറ്റാർ വാങ്ങാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നു.വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ വിളകൾ നശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും ധനു അവളുടെ ഗിറ്റാർ വാങ്ങാനുള്ള തീരുമാനത്തിന്റെ മുൻഗണന തിരുത്തുന്നില്ല. എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും ധനു എന്ന നക്ഷത്രത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സിൽ അവൾ ഉറച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്നു. ആൺകുട്ടികളുമായും അവളുടെ വിധവയായ അമ്മയുടെ സഹായത്തോടെയുംദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ പോരാട്ടങ്ങളെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുകയും ആത്യന്തികമായി അവൾക്ക് വിജയം കൈവരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

സംവിധായകയുടെ കുറിപ്പ്[തിരുത്തുക]

മൂന്നു വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുമുൻപ് ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ വെച്ച് മാൻ വിത്ത് ദി ബൈനോക്കുലർ (അന്തർദൃഷ്ടി) എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് സമയത്ത്, ഈ ഗ്രാമീണ കുട്ടികളുമായി പതിവായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അവരുടെ കഥ പറയാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു, അത് എന്റെ കഥ കൂടിയായിരുന്നു.ഈ സമ്പന്ന അനുഭവങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ തിരിച്ചെത്തുമ്പോൾ, കുട്ടികൾ ചെയ്യേണ്ട പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളാൽ ഞാൻ അതിശയപ്പെടുന്നു, നഗരങ്ങളിലെ കുട്ടികളുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ഭാവനകൾ എത്ര വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ്.എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കളെയും ഞാൻ പകർത്തി.യുവതി, ധനു, മഴ എന്നിവയെയും ആൺകുട്ടികളുടെ സംഘവും അവരുടെ ദുരന്തങ്ങളും യഥാർത്ഥ മഴയിലും വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കത്തിലുംതന്നെ ഷൂട്ട് ചെയ്തു.എന്റെ ആദ്യ ചിത്രത്തിനൊപ്പം ഞാൻ ഇത് ഷൂട്ട് ചെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങി. ഫണ്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും എന്റെ ക്യാമറയിൽ നിന്ന് ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. എന്റെ കസിൻ മല്ലികയും സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിച്ച കുട്ടികളും എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു. ഞാൻ മുംബൈയിലേക്കും എന്റെ ഗ്രാമമായ ഛായാഗോണിലേക്കും മാറിത്താമസിക്കുന്ന സമയം. കുട്ടികൾ എന്റെ വരവിനായി കാത്തിരുന്നു.അടുത്ത ദിവസം ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് ഷെഡ്യൂൾ എടുക്കുന്നതിനു മുൻപായി അവർ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നു, സൂര്യോദയത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ പ്രകാശത്തെ പിടിക്കാൻ അവർ എന്നെ കിടക്കയിൽ നിന്ന് വലിച്ചിഴയ്ക്കുന്നതുപോലെയാണെനിക്കാ അനുഭവം.[32]
