തെലുങ്ക് സിനിമകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ നടനാണ് കൊണിഡേല വരുൺ തേജ് അഥവാ വരുൺ തേജ് (ജനനം 19 ജനുവരി 1990). മുകുന്ദ (2014) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ നായകനായാണ് അദ്ദേഹം അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചത്. പിന്നീട് ക്രിഷ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത കാഞ്ചെ (2015) എന്ന നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നേടിയ യുദ്ധചിത്രത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനയിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഫിദ (2017), തോളി പ്രേമ (2018), എഫ് 2: ഫൺ ആൻഡ് ഫ്രസ്ട്രേഷൻ (2019), ഗദ്ദലകൊണ്ട ഗണേഷ് (2019) തുടങ്ങിയ വാണിജ്യ വിജയ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു.
ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
തെലുങ്ക് നടനും നിർമ്മാതാവുമായ നാഗേന്ദ്ര ബാബുവിന്റെ മകനാണ് വരുൺ തേജ്. നടന്മാരായ ചിരഞ്ജീവിയുടെയും പവൻ കല്യാണിന്റെയും അനന്തരവനാണ്[1]. ഇളയ സഹോദരി നിഹാരികയും നടിയാണ്. നടൻമാരായ രാം ചരൺ, അല്ലു അർജുൻ, അല്ലു സിരീഷ്, സായ് തേജ്, പഞ്ച വൈഷ്ണവ് തേജ് എന്നിവർ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളാണ്[2]. ഹൈദരാബാദിലെ ജൂബിലി ഹിൽസിലെ ഭാരതീയ വിദ്യാഭവനിലും ഹൈദരാബാദിലെ സെന്റ് മേരീസ് കോളേജിലുമായിരുന്നു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം[3].
സിനിമ ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
അച്ഛൻ നാഗേന്ദ്ര ബാബു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഹാൻഡ്‌സ് അപ്പ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ ബാലതാരമായാണ് വരുൺ തേജ് അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചത്. വെറും പത്തു വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ. മുകുന്ദ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം മുതിർന്നവരുടെ അരങ്ങേറ്റം നടത്തിയത്, സഹ നവാഗതയായ പൂജ ഹെഗ്‌ഡെയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ചു. ചിത്രം സമ്മിശ്ര നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ നേടി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ സംരംഭം 2015-ൽ പ്രഗ്യാ ജയ്‌സ്വാളിനൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ച കാഞ്ചെ എന്ന യുദ്ധ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു, നിരൂപകരിൽ നിന്ന് നല്ല അവലോകനങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചു[4]. ധൂപതി ഹരിബാബുവായി വരുൺ തേജിന്റെ പ്രകടനത്തെ ദ ടൈംസ്‌ ഓഫ്‌ ഇന്ത്യ പ്രശംസിച്ചു, "തീവ്രതയിൽ നിന്ന് ശാന്തതയിലേക്ക് ഗിയർ മാറ്റാനുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കഴിവിനെ" പ്രശംസിച്ചു[5]. ആ വർഷത്തെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ റിലീസായ ലോഫർ, 2017-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മിസ്റ്ററിനൊപ്പം ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസ് പരാജയമായിരുന്നു.
2017 ന്റെ അവസാന പകുതിയിൽ ഫിദ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി, അവിടെ അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു ഗ്രാമീണ സുന്ദരിയെ പ്രണയിക്കുന്ന ഒരു NRI ആയി അഭിനയിച്ചു. ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസിൽ 90 കോടിയിലധികം നേടിയ ചിത്രം വാണിജ്യപരമായി വിജയിച്ചു[6]. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ 2018-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ തോളി പ്രേമവും ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസ് വിജയമായിരുന്നു, ആവേശഭരിതനായ ഒരു യുവാവായി വരുൺ തേജിന്റെ പ്രകടനം പരക്കെ പ്രശംസിക്കപ്പെട്ടു[7][8]. സങ്കൽപ് റെഡ്ഡി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത സ്‌പേസ് ത്രില്ലർ അന്തരിക്ഷം 9000 കെഎംപിഎച്ച് ആയിരുന്നു ആ വർഷത്തെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അടുത്ത ചിത്രം[9].
2019-ൽ, തേജിന്റെ ആദ്യ റിലീസ്, വെങ്കടേശ്, തമന്ന ഭാട്ടിയ, മെഹ്രിൻ പിർസദ എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പമുള്ള മൾട്ടിസ്റ്റാററായ F2: ഫൺ ആൻഡ് ഫ്രസ്ട്രേഷൻ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്, അത് വലിയ ബ്ലോക്ക്ബസ്റ്റർ ആണ്[10]. എഫ് 2 ന് ശേഷം, അലാദ്ദീൻ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ അലാദ്ദീന്റെ വേഷത്തിനായി അദ്ദേഹം തെലുങ്കിലേക്ക് ഡബ്ബ് ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് ഹരീഷ് ശങ്കർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത തമിഴ് ചിത്രമായ ജിഗർതണ്ടയുടെ റീമേക്ക് ആയ ഗദ്ദലകൊണ്ട ഗണേശിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു, അത് ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസിൽ വിജയിച്ചു[11].
2020 ജനുവരിയിലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച്, തേജിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണത്തിലിരിക്കുന്ന രണ്ട് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്, ഘനി, F2 ന്റെ തുടർച്ചയായ F3[12][13]. കിരൺ കൊറപ്പാട്ടി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഘാനിയിൽ ബോക്‌സറുടെ വേഷത്തിലാണ് തേജ് എത്തുന്നത്[അവലംബം ആവശ്യമാണ്].
