ബ്രൂണെയ്, ഇന്തൊനേഷ്യ, മലേഷ്യ ,സിംഗപ്പൂർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ സംസാരിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഭാഷയണ് മലയ് ഭാഷ (Malay /məˈl/;[5] മലയ്: Bahasa Melayu بهاس ملايو) ആസ്ട്രോനേഷ്യൻ ഭാഷാഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ഭാഷയാണിത്. 29 കോടിയോളം ആൾക്കാർ ഈ ഭാഷ് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു[6]
