Detroit (/d[invalid input: 'ɨ']ˈtrɔɪt/[5]) അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ മിഷിഗൺസംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും ജനസംഖ്യയുള്ള നഗരമാണ് ഡെട്രോയിറ്റ് Detroit (/dᵻˈtrɔɪt/[6]) മദ്ധ്യ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ജനസംഖ്യയിൽ നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്തുള്ള ഈ സഗരം അമേരിക്കൻ-കാനഡ അതിർത്തിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരമാണ്. ഡെട്രോയിറ്റ് നദീതീരത്തെ പ്രധാന തുറമുഖമായ ഈ നഗരം മോട്ടോർ സിറ്റി, ലോകത്തിന്റെ ഓട്ടോമോട്ടീവ് തലസ്ഥാനം എന്നീ പേരുകളിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.
