അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ കാലിഫോർണിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കോൺഡ്രോ കോസ്റ്റാ കൗണ്ടിയിൽ സാൻ റമോൺ താഴ്‍വരയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയാണ് ഡാൻവില്ലെ. കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ സംയോജിത മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റികളിലൊന്നാണിത്. "നഗരം" എന്നതിനുപകരം "പട്ടണം" എന്ന അർത്ഥത്തിലുള്ള പേരാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. 2010 ലെ കണക്കുകളനുസരിച്ച് ഈ പട്ടണത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 42,039 ആയിരുന്നു. ഓരോ ശനിയാഴ്ചകളിലും സാൻ റമോൺ വാലി മ്യൂസിയത്തിനു സമീപം കർഷകരുടെ ഒരു വിപണി ഡാൻവില്ലെ പട്ടണം നടത്തുന്നു.[10] ദ അയൺ ഹോഴ്സ് റീജിയണൽ ട്രയൽ ഡാൻവില്ലെ വഴി കടന്നുപോകുന്നു. ബൈക്ക്, കാൽനടപ്പാതയിൽ, നിയന്ത്രണ സംവിധാനങ്ങളുള്ള ജംഗ്ഷനുകളുള്ള 80 അടി (24 മീറ്റർ) വിസ്താരമുള്ള ഇടനാഴിയായി മാറ്റിയ ആദ്യ റെയിൽറോഡാണിത്. ഡബ്ലിനിൽ നിന്ന് കോൺകോർഡിലേക്ക് നീണ്ടുകിടക്കുന്ന ഈ പാത, ഡാൻവില്ലെ വഴി കടന്നുപോകുന്നു. വില്ലേജ് തിയേറ്റർ, ആർട്ട് ഗ്യാലറി എന്നിവയും ഡാൻവില്ലെയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇവ കുട്ടികളുടെ തീയറ്റർ, ബ്രോഡ്‍വേ പ്രദർശനങ്ങൾ, കലകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചർച്ചകൾ എന്നിവ ഇവിടെ നടക്കുന്നു.[11]
