ലിസ ആൻ വാൾട്ടർ (ജനനം ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 3, 1963) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നടിയും ഹാസ്യകാരിയും ടെലിവിഷൻ പരിപാടികളുടെ നിർമ്മാതാവുമാണ്, പ്രണയാത്മക ഹാസ്യ ചിത്രമായ ദി പാരന്റ് ട്രാപ്പിലെ ചെസ്സി എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിലൂടെയും എബിസിയുടെ പീബോഡി അവാർഡ് നേടിയ ഹാസ്യ പരമ്പര അബോട്ട് എലിമെന്ററിയിലെ മെലിസ സ്കീമൻറി എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിൻറേയും പേരിലാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇതിലെ വേഷം ഒരു സ്‌ക്രീൻ ആക്ടേഴ്‌സ് ഗിൽഡ് അവാർഡ് സമ്മാനിച്ചു.

1963 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 3 ന് മേരിലാൻഡിലെ സിൽവർ സ്പ്രിംഗ് നഗരത്തിലാണ് ലിസ ആൻ വാൾട്ടർ ജനിച്ചത്.[1] അവളും മൂത്ത സഹോദരി ലോറയും ഫ്രാൻസിൽ ജനിച്ച അൽസേഷ്യൻ വംശജനും ഭൌമശാസ്ത്രകാരനായിരുന്ന ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പിതാവിന്റെയും സിസിലിയിൽ ജനിച്ച അദ്ധ്യാപികയായ മാതാവിൻറേയും മക്കളാണ്. പിതാവിന്റെ ജോലി സംബന്ധമായ യാത്രകളേത്തുടർന്ന് കുടുംബം വിവിധ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ താമസിച്ചതിനാൽ അവരുടെ ബാല്യകാല ഭവനങ്ങളിൽ ജർമ്മനി, വാഷിംഗ്ടൺ ഡിസിയുടെ പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.[2][3] 1983-ൽ വാഷിംഗ്ടൺ ഡിസിയിലെ കാത്തലിക് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഓഫ് അമേരിക്കയിൽ നിന്ന് നാടക കലയിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി.[4]
1983-ൽ സഹനടനായ സാം ബൗമിനെ അവർ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. 1999-ൽ വിവാഹമോചനം നേടുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് അവർക്ക് ജോർദാൻ (1988) ഡെലിയ (1992)[5] എന്നീ കുട്ടികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സ്പെൻസർ, സൈമൺ വാൾട്ടർ (11 ഒക്ടോബർ 2000) എന്നീ ഇരട്ടക്കുട്ടികളുടെ മാതാവുമാണ് അവർ.[6][7][8][9]
