ഫ്ളമിഷ് ചിത്രകാരൻ ജൂസ് ഡി മോമ്പർ വരച്ച ഓയിൽ ഓൺ പാനൽ പെയിന്റിംഗാണ് ലാൻഡ്സ്കേപ്പ് വിത് ഗ്രോട്ടോ. പെയിന്റിംഗ് 1610-കളിൽ പൂർത്തിയായി. ഒരുപക്ഷേ 1616-ൽ[1][2][3] നിലവിൽ ബോണിലെ റിനിഷെസ് ലാൻഡസ്മ്യൂസിയത്തിലാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.[3][4]

ജൂസ് ഡി മോമ്പർ ഫ്ലെമിഷ് ലാൻഡ്‌സ്‌കേപ്പിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ ഒരു സംഘത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു, അവരുടെ പെയിന്റിംഗുകൾ പലപ്പോഴും അന്യദേശത്തെ കടും തൂക്കാം പാറയോടുകൂടിയ ഭൂപ്രകൃതിയെ ചിത്രീകരിക്കുന്നു.[5] അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭൂപ്രകൃതിയിൽ പലപ്പോഴും ഒരു ഗ്രോട്ടോ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവും അങ്ങനെയാണ്.[4]
താഴെ ഇടതുവശത്ത് മൂന്ന് രൂപങ്ങളുണ്ട്. അവരിൽ ഒരാൾ തന്റെ വടിയിൽ ചാരി നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഇടയനാണ്. താഴെയുള്ള പുൽമേട്ടിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടം മേയുന്നു. മൂന്ന് രൂപങ്ങളിൽ രണ്ടെണ്ണം ഇരിക്കുന്നു. അവരിലൊരാൾ ഒരു കലാകാരനായി വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, അവർക്ക് മുന്നിൽ പാറകളും വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടവും വരച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുന്നു.[4]
