മോഡിക്ക ബാഡഗ്രിയിൽ ജനിച്ചു. ലാഗോസിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന അജഗുൺലെ എന്ന ക്രിസ്തീയ ഭവനത്തിൽ വളർന്നു. മിസ്റ്റർമിസ് കിഡീസ് അക്കാദമിയിൽ അവർ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ലാഗോസിലെ ന്യൂലാന്റ് സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളിൽ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ അവർ ഒഗുൻ സ്റ്റേറ്റിലെ ഒലാബിസി ഓണബാൻജോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് മാസ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻ പഠിച്ചു. ഒരു ന്യൂ സോങ് എന്ന വെയ്ൽ അഡെനുഗ പ്രോജക്റ്റിൽ ഒരു അധിക വേഷം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവർ ആദ്യമായി ടെലിവിഷനിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. 2015 ൽ റെമി വോഗൻ-റിച്ചാർഡ്സിന്റെ "അൺസ്പോക്കൺ" എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടതാണ് അവരുടെ ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രധാന ചലച്ചിത്ര വേഷം. [13]

മോണിക്ക ദീർഘകാലമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന 2015 എം-നെറ്റ് സീരീസായ "ഡു ഗുഡ്", ആഫ്രിക്കൻ ടെയിൽ ഫിലിം "ഡോറ" എന്നിവ 2016 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി. [14][15] 2019 ൽ "സെന" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ മോണിക്ക റെക്സിഹയായി അഭിനയിച്ചു. [16][17]
