പാടക്കുരുവിയ്ക്ക് Paddyfield Warbler എന്ന് ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ പേര്. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Acrocephalus agricola എന്നാണ്.
വിതരണം
[തിരുത്തുക]മദ്ധ്യ ഏഷ്യയിൽ പ്രജനനം നടത്തുന്ന ഇവ തണുപ്പുകലത്ത് പാകിസ്താൻ, ഇന്ത്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിളേക്ക് ദേശാടനം നടത്തുന്നു. കരിങ്കടലിന്റെ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ തീരത്ത് ബൾഗേറിയക്കും റുമാനിയയ്ക്കും ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ഇനത്തെ കാണുന്നുണ്ട്.
വിവരണം
[തിരുത്തുക]13 സെ.മീ നീളം. ചിറകുകളുടെ അറ്റം തമ്മിൽ 15-17.5 സെ.മീ അകലം. മുകൾ വശം വരകളില്ലാത്ത ഇളം തവിട്ടു നിറം. മങ്ങിയ അടിവശം. വെള്ള പുരികം.
ഭക്ഷണം

പ്രജനനം
[തിരുത്തുക]അധികം ഉയരമില്ലാത്ത പുല്ലുകൾക്കിടായിലുള്ള കൂട്ടിൽ 4-5 മുട്ടകളിടും.
