കാത്‌ലീൻ എറിൻ വാൽഷ് (ജനനം: ഒക്ടോബർ 13, 1967)[1] ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നടിയാണ്. എബിസി മെഡിക്കൽ നാടകീയ പരമ്പരയായ ഗ്രേസ് അനാട്ടമിയിലെ (2005–2012, 2021–ഇന്ന് വരെ) ഡോ. ആഡിസൺ മോണ്ട്ഗോമറി, പ്രൈവറ്റ് പ്രാക്ടീസ് (2007–2013) എന്നിവയിലെ വേഷങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് അവർ കൂടുതൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.

ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]

ഏഞ്ചല, ജോസഫ് പാട്രിക് വാൽഷ് സീനിയർ ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകളായി കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ സാൻ ജോസിലാണ് വാൽഷ് ജനിച്ചത്.[2].[3][4] അരിസോണയിലെ ടക്‌സണിലുള്ള ഒരു കത്തോലിക്കാ പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള[5] കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് അവർ വളർന്നത്. മാതാവ് ഇറ്റാലിയൻ വംശജയും[6][7][8] പിതാവ് കൗണ്ടി മീത്തിലെ നവനിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഐറിഷ് വംശജനും ആയിരുന്നു.

കാറ്റലീന മാഗ്നറ്റ് ഹൈസ്കൂളിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടിയ വാൽഷ്, തുടർ പഠനം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് അരിസോണ സർവകലാശാലയിൽനിന്ന് അഭിനയം പഠിച്ചു. ന്യൂയോർക്ക് സിറ്റിയിലേക്ക് താമസം മാറിയ വാൽഷ് ബേൺ മാൻഹട്ടൻ എന്ന കോമഡി ട്രൂപ്പിൽ ചേരുകയും പരിചാരികയായി ജോലി ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ചിലവുകൾക്ക് പണം കണ്ടെത്തുകയം ചെയ്തു.[9][10]

1980 കളിൽ ജപ്പാനിൽ മോഡലിംഗ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും മുമ്പുള്ള കാലത്ത് വാൽഷ് ഫാസ്റ്റ് ഫുഡ് ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റുകളിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട്, അവൾ ഷിക്കാഗോ നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് താമസം മാറിയ അവർ പിവൻ തിയേറ്റർ വർക്ക്ഷോപ്പിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു.[11][12] നാഷണൽ പബ്ലിക് റേഡിയോയിൽ അവതാരികയായിരുന്ന അവർ റേഡിയോ നാടകമായ ബോൺ ഗിൽറ്റിയുടെ നിർമ്മാണത്തിലും അവതരണത്തിലും സഹകരിച്ചിരുന്നു.[13] വാൽഷ് 2010-ൽ ബോയ്ഫ്രണ്ട് എൽഎൽസി എന്ന ബ്യൂട്ടി ആന്റ് ലൈഫ്സ്റ്റൈൽ കമ്പനി സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.[14]

വാൽഷ് 20ത് സെഞ്ച്വറി ഫോക്‌സ് എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവായ അലക്‌സ് യങ്ങിനെ 2007 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 1-ന് വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു.[15] 2008 ഡിസംബർ 11-ന്, പൊരുത്തപ്പെടാനാകാത്ത വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി യംഗ് വിവാഹമോചനത്തിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും വിവാഹമോചന ഹർജിയിൽ വേർപിരിയലിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക തീയതി നവംബർ 22 എന്ന് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.[16] 2008 ഡിസംബർ 24-ന്, യങ്ങിന്റെ വിവാഹമോചന പത്രികയിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന വേർപിരിയൽ തീയതിയെ എതിർത്തുകൊണ്ട് വാൽഷ് വിവാഹമോചനത്തിനായി എതിർ കേസ് ഫയൽ ചെയ്തു.[17] 2010 ഫെബ്രുവരി അഞ്ചിന് വിവാഹമോചനം നടന്നു.[18]

2022 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ, ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയൻ കർഷകനായ ആൻഡ്രൂ നിക്‌സണുമായി താൻ വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം കഴിഞ്ഞതായി വാൽഷ് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി.[19] നിലവിൽ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയിലെ പെർത്തിലാണ് വാൽഷ് താമസിക്കുന്നത്.[20]
