വളരെ അപൂർവ്വമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു തവളയാണ് അംബോലി തവള അഥവാ Amboli Bushfrog. ഇതിന്റെ ശാസ്ത്രനാമം Pseudophilautus amboli എന്നാണ് . പശ്ചിമഘട്ട പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ ഒരു തദ്ദേശീയ ജീവിയാണിത്.
ആവാസം
[തിരുത്തുക]നിത്യഹരിത വനങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നുള്ള പരിസ്ഥിതി ദുർബ്ബല പ്രദേശത്തു നിന്നാണു ഇതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര യിലെ അംബോലി കാടുകളിൽ നിന്നാണ് ആദ്യമായി കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
