ജന്മസമയത്ത് രുദ്രംഭ എന്നായിരുന്നു രുദ്രമാദേവിയുടെ പേര്. ഗണപതി ദേവ എന്നായിരുന്നു പിതാവിൻറെ പേര്. അദ്ദേഹം നരമ്മ , പെരമ്മ എന്നിവരെയാണ് വിവാഹം ചെയ്തത്.കാകാത്തിയ ഗണപതിദേവയുടെ സർവ സൈനാധിപനായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
