കരി വയറൻ ആള്യ്ക്ക് black-bellied tern എന്നു പേരുണ്ട്.Sterna acuticaudaഎന്നാണ് ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം.ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപ ഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിലെ വലിയ നദികൾക്കടുത്ത് കാണുന്നു.
രൂപവിവരണം[തിരുത്തുക]
ഇവയുടെ വയർ കറുത്തതാണ്. ഫോർക്ക് പോലുള്ളവാലുണ്ട്. കരി ആളയുമായി സാമ്യമുണ്ട്. കരി ആളയ്ക്ക് ആഴം കുറഞ്ഞഫോർക്ക് പോലുള്ള വാലാണ് കൂടാതെ നെഞ്ചിനോട് ചേർന്നും കറുപ്പുണ്ട്. ഇവകൊണ്ട് തിരിച്ചറിയാനാവും.
