ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സർവ്വകലാശാലകൾക്കു കീഴിലുള്ള ഗവേഷണപ്രബന്ധങ്ങൾ ഡിജിറ്റൽ രൂപത്തിൽ ശേഖരിച്ചു വിതരണം ചെയ്യുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ ആരംഭിച്ച ഒരു പദ്ധതിയാണ് ശോധ്ഗംഗ (Shodhganga). യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് കമ്മീഷൻ തുടങ്ങിയ സ്വയംഭരണസ്ഥാപനമായ ഇൻഫ്ലിബ്‌നെറ്റ് (ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ ആൻഡ് ലൈബ്രറി നെറ്റ്‌വർക്ക്) സെന്ററാണ് ശോധ്ഗംഗയുടെ മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നത്. യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് കമ്മീഷൻ (യു.ജി.സി) ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സ്വയംഭരണാധികാരമുള്ള ഇന്റർ-യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി സെന്റർ ആയ INFLIBNET സെന്റർ ആണ് ഇത് പരിപാലിക്കുന്നത്. അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെ ഗുജറാത്ത് സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ ക്യാമ്പസിലാണ് ആദ്യം ഇത് സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. 2013 ജനുവരിയിൽ, ഗാന്ധിനഗറിലെ ഇൻഫോസിറ്റിയിൽ INFLIBNET സെന്റർ അതിന്റെ പുതിയ സ്ഥാപിത കെട്ടിടത്തിലേക്ക് മാറി.[3]
