ബൊളീവിയയും, പരാഗ്വേയും തമ്മിൽ ചാകോ എന്ന പ്രദേശത്തിനു വേണ്ടി 1932-1935 വരെ നടത്തിയ യുദ്ധമാണ് ഇത്.പരാഗ്വേ നദിയിലൂടെ അറ്റ് ലാന്റിക് സമുദ്രത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് ഒരു പാത തുറന്നുകിട്ടുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടിയാണ് ബൊളീവിയ യുദ്ധത്തിനു ഒരുമ്പെട്ടത്. 1935 ൽ പരാഗ്വേ യുദ്ധം ജയിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും ബ്യൂനസ് അയർസ് സന്ധിപ്രകാരം ബൊളീവിയയ്ക്ക് സമുദ്രത്തിലേയ്ക്കുള്ള പാത തുറന്നുകിട്ടുകയുണ്ടായി.[5]
