ഇഷ്‌ടാനുസൃതമായി നിർമ്മിച്ച 2019 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 30 ന് ജെന്നഡി ബോറിസോവ് നൗച്‌നിജിലെ മാർഗോയിലെ 0.65 മീറ്റർ ദൂരദർശിനി ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വസ്തു കണ്ടെത്തി. [7] കണ്ടെത്തുമ്പോൾ, ഇത് സൂര്യനിൽ നിന്ന് 3±0.1 സൗരദൂരവും ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്ന് 3.8±0.1സൗരദൂരവും അകലെയായിരുന്നു. സൗരആയതി 38° ആയിരുന്നു.
