സാരി (പേർഷ്യൻ: ⓘ; also romanized as Sārī), ഷഹർ-ഇ-തജൻ, ഷാരി-ഇ-തജൻ[2] എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന, മാസന്ദരാൻ പ്രവിശ്യയുടെ തലസ്ഥാനവും ഇറാന്റെ മുൻ തലസ്ഥാനവുമായ (കുറച്ച് കാലത്തേക്ക്) നഗരമാണ്. ഇറാന്റെ വടക്ക് ഭാഗത്ത്, അൽബോർസ് പർവതനിരകളുടെ വടക്കൻ ചരിവുകൾക്കും കാസ്പിയൻ കടലിന്റെ തെക്കൻ തീരത്തിനുമിടയിലാണ് ഇതിൻറെ സ്ഥാനം. മാസന്ദരാൻ പ്രവിശ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലുതും ജനസംഖ്യയുള്ളതുമായ നഗരമാണ് സാരി.[3]
