ബുച്ച്ബിന്ദർ ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയിലെ മെൽബണിലുള്ള മോനാഷ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് ബാച്ചിലർ ഓഫ് മെഡിസിൻ, ബാച്ചിലർ ഓഫ് സർജറി, (എംബിബിഎസ്) (ഓണേഴ്‌സ്) നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[1]

ബുച്ച്ബിൻഡർ 2001-ലെ ക്ലിനിക്കൽ സ്റ്റഡീസിലെ വോൾവോ അവാർഡും[2] a2004-ലെ റൂമറ്റോളജിയിൽ ട്രൈനിയൽ പാർ പ്രൈസും നേടി.[3]

2007 ഫെബ്രുവരിയിൽ, ബുച്ച്ബിൻഡറിന്റെ ഡോക്ടറൽ തീസിസ് മോളി ഹോൾമാൻ ഡോക്ടറൽ മെഡൽ നേടി, ഫാക്കൽറ്റി ഓഫ് മെഡിസിൻ, നഴ്സിംഗ്, ഹെൽത്ത് സയൻസസ്[4][5]

'ബാക്ക് പെയിൻ: ഡോണ്ട് ടേക്ക് ഇറ്റ് ഡൗൺ' എന്ന ഒരു ബഹുജന-മാധ്യമ കാമ്പെയ്‌നിന്റെ ആഘാതത്തെ വിലയിരുത്തിയതിന് 2007-ൽ മെഡിക്കൽ റിസർച്ചിനുള്ള (വിക്ടോറിയ) പ്രീമിയർ അവാർഡിൽ അവർക്ക് ഒരു അഭിനന്ദനം ലഭിച്ചു. നടുവേദനയെക്കുറിച്ച് വിക്ടോറിയക്കാരെ ബോധവത്കരിക്കാനും അതിന്റെ മാനേജ്മെന്റിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള കാലികമായ ഉപദേശം നൽകാനും ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടായിരുന്നു ഈ കാമ്പെയ്ൻ. ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള, പുറകുവശവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വൈകല്യങ്ങൾക്കായുള്ള പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ സമീപനത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ പ്രയോഗമായിരുന്നു ഇത്.[4]
