1869 ജൂലൈ 9-ന് സിഡ്‌നിയിലെ ബർവുഡിലാണ് മേരി ബൂത്ത് ജനിച്ചത്.[2][3][4]


ബൂത്ത് എയർലി സ്കൂളിൽ സ്വകാര്യ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടി. തുടർന്ന് സിഡ്നി സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് കലയിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി. അവർ എഡിൻബർഗ് കോളേജ് ഓഫ് മെഡിസിൻ ഫോർ വുമണിൽ മെഡിസിൻ പഠിച്ചു (1899-ൽ ബിരുദം നേടി).[2][3][4][5][6]
