ബിദ്രിയുടെ ലോഹകലാവിദ്യ
ബിദ്രിയുടെ ലോഹകലാവിദ്യ (Kannada: ಬಿದ್ರಿ ಕಲೆ ) കർണ്ണാടകയിലെ ബീദാർ പ്രദേശത്തെ പ്രത്യേകതരം ലോഹകൈത്തൊഴിൽ രീതിയാണ്. സി ഇ പതിനാലാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ ബഹ്മനിസുൽത്താനത്തിന്റെ കാലത്ത് വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത ലോഹസാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയാണ്. [1] ബിദ്രി എന്ന വാക്ക് ബിദാർ എന്ന സ്ഥലവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ സ്ഥലമാണ് ഇന്നും ഈ തരം ലോഹപാത്രനിർമ്മാണത്തിൽ മികച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നത്. [2] ഈ ലോഹപാത്രങ്ങളുടെ സവിശേഷമായ ചിത്രപ്പണികൾ ഇവയെ വിദേശരാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ വളരെ പ്രിയമുള്ളതാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സമ്പത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമായാണ് ഇവയെ കണക്കാക്കിവരുന്നത്. സിങ്ക്, ചെമ്പ് എന്നിവയുടെ ഇരുണ്ട നിറത്തിലുള്ള കൂടുലോഹം കൊണ്ടാണ്ണിതു നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനുമുകളിൽ വെള്ളിയുടെ നേർമ്മയുള്ള പാളികൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് അലങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
