കടൽവാസിയായ ഒരു മൽസ്യമാണ് പെരുംകണ്ണൻ നിലംതല്ലിസ്രാവ് അഥവാ Bigeye Thresher Shark. (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Alopias superciliosus). ഐ യു സി എൻ പട്ടികപ്രകാരമുള്ള പരിപാലന സ്ഥിതി വംശനാശ സാദ്ധ്യതയുള്ള ജീവികൾ എന്നാണ്.

പ്രജനനം

മുട്ടയിടുന്ന ഇനത്തിൽ പെട്ട സ്രാവാണ് ഇവ, എന്നിരുന്നാലും മുട്ടകൾ അമ്മയുടെ വയറ്റിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ തന്നെ വിരിഞ്ഞു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ വളർച്ച പ്രാപിക്കാതെ മറ്റു മുട്ടകൾ ഭക്ഷണമാകുന്നു , ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം 1-2 കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ഇവയ്ക്ക് ഉണ്ടാക്കു.

ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥ

പകൽ സമയം ആഴ കടലിലും രാത്രി കടലിന്റെ മുകൾ തട്ടിലും വസിക്കുന്ന ഡൈൽ വെർട്ടിക്കൽ മൈഗ്രേഷൻ നടത്തുന്ന ചുരുക്കം ജീവികളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഇവ.
