ജർമ്മനിയിൽ ജനിച്ച ഒരു ഘാന മോഡലും ഫാഷൻ ഐക്കണും നടിയും സിനിമാ നിർമ്മാതാവും ബ്രാൻഡ് അംബാസഡറും മനുഷ്യസ്‌നേഹിയുമാണ് നാന അകുവാ അഡോ. 2003 ലെ മിസ് മലൈകയിൽ അവർ രണ്ടാം റണ്ണറപ്പും 2005 ലെ മിസ് ഘാന-ജർമ്മനി വിജയിയുമാണ്.[1] ഗ്ലിറ്റ്സ് സ്റ്റൈൽ അവാർഡുകളും സിറ്റി പീപ്പിൾ എന്റർടൈൻമെന്റ് അവാർഡുകളും ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള അവാർഡുകളിലും റെഡ് കാർപെറ്റ് ഇവന്റുകളിലും അവർക്ക് നിരവധി അംഗീകാരങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[2][3] ജനപ്രിയ അവാർഡുകളിലും ഫാഷൻ ഷോകളിലും അവരുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം ശ്രദ്ധ തിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ അവരെ ഘാനയുടെ റെഡ് കാർപെറ്റ് രാജ്ഞി എന്നാണ് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.[4][5][6][7][8][9]

2017 ലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച്, അവർ യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സിലെ ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ഫിലിം അക്കാദമിയിൽ അഭിനയം പഠിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.[3]
