പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയ ശിശു രോഗ വിദഗ്ദ്ധയായ സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രവർത്തകയാണ് ഡോക്ടർ ദീദി എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്ന ക്ഷമ മെത്രെ.[1] ചിന്മയ ഓർഗനൈസേഷൻ ഫോർ റൂറൽ ഡെവലപ്മെന്റ് സ്ഥാപകയാണ്(CORD).[2] [3] [4] 2008 ൽ പത്മശ്രീ ലഭിച്ചു.[5]
മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിൽ ജനിച്ചു. ആസാമിലായിരുന്നു കുട്ടിക്കാലം.[6] .[7]പിന്നീട് ഡൽഹിയിൽ പഠനം. വൈദ്യ പഠനത്തിനു ശേഷം ചിന്മയ മിഷനിൽ ചേർന്നു.
